March movies selection
Killing Eve – this TV show was not even in my watchlist, but I decided to give it a chance and… it’s brilliant! So refreshing and dynamic, on the verge of drama and humor, I really loved it. Now waiting impatiently for the whole second season to come out.
Fargo – so many stupid, but surviving people in one place – it’s amazing! The first season is my favorite with the brilliant Martin Freeman.
Victoria – another TV show about a British Queen after “The Queen”, but they are so well done, I cannot resist them.
The Favourite – what a true piece of work! acting, production design, music, story – all are wonderful.
The Front Runner – the true story of Senator Gary Hart, who was too naive, believing that nowadays his private life was only his business…
A Private War – based on the Vanity Fair article “Marie Colvin’s Private War” the film is a beautiful and scary portrait of Marie Colvin’ professional life as a war zone correspondent.
Alita: Battle Angel – I rarely go to the cinema to watch a movie, but for this one I made an exception: I found the idea of an exquisite girl / cyborg with a great power to defeat her enemies so fascinating.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse – won an Oscar for Best Animated movie and for all the right reasons.
